Darenth Farm consists of 45 acres of fenced pastures including hills, woods, creek and a pond. All fields have a field shelter or wooded areas to provide shelter and shade. The center aisle barn has 17 matted stalls with automatic waterers and fly control system. There is an outside wash stall.

Close to the barn is a bluestone/sand arena 70′ by 200′ and round pen. Coming in the autumn of 2012 a 65′ by 120′ Clearspan covered arena.

Stadium jumps are provided in the outdoor arena and there are several cross country fences in the fields.

Exciting news, our new Clearspan covered riding arena is in place and getting lots of use!

The last week of summer camp for 2016 is over and what a great summer we have had! From our experienced, competitive riders to those who had never sat on a horse before coming to Darenth Farm, all had a great time. New skills were learnt and old ones polished while making friends and learning to work as a team. It always amazes and delights me to see how strangers at the beginning of the week come together and work as one unit by the end of the week.
Thanks to Elizabeth and Grace and all the volunteers for a job well done.
I have been approached by several adults who think a camp for adults might be fun, so yes, let's do it next year!

You might have noticed that it has been a little warm this past week but campers at Darenth Farm found ways to cool down. From swimming in the lake at Cordorus State Park, to dallying in the water at Woodstock while cross country schooling to hosing the ponies off after a fun session of mounted games, if we didn't beat the heat we at least made it bearable! Thanks girls for a great week. ...
